Drop Zone (DVD, 1999)

A darn good one to watch, lots of action and great performances by starring actors. Got this one at a good price and it was well worth it. Looking fwd to more of Snipes movies coming to my collection.

This movie has it all! Starts out with a great cast of characters: Wesley Snipes at his best as the butt-kicking, good guy; Gary Busey perfectly suited in the crooked, bad guy role; Yancy Butler pulling off the tough, yet sensitive, go-between of sorts. Malcolm-Jamal Warner & Corin Nemec also co-star in compelling roles.
The storyline grabs you from the very beginning & just does not let you go. Of course the action sequences are fantastic, but there are plenty of laughs to be had as well. Snipes' character almost immediately goes on the hunt for a group of criminals that catch up one too many in their scheme. He then finds himself knee-deep in the world of sky-diving, which he knows nothing about. Enter Butler's character who, reluctantly at first, tries her best to get him on the inside. While he's learning the ropes, Busey's character is advancing his group's next, biggest crime.
Add to this, great camera views & thrilling stunts, and you're sure to be entertained!

This movie shows Mr. Snipes in one of his very good roles. He is an agent of the government that needs answers and has to obtain them on his own. He performs well in any type situation. I recommend this movie to all collectors and anyone that like Wesley Snipes. Mr. Snipes go through changes in this film that tell you how much he wants to achieve the required results. I say this movie is a collectors item and should be viewed by many.

DROP ZONE is a fast-paced, action-packed, interesting, and exciting movie. Excellent acting by Wesley Snipes, Gary Busey, Yancy Butler, and Michael Jeter. Hope to see more films like this one!
