One of my favorite books by Ms. Lee and one of the first science fiction/fantasy books I read as a teenager. Human kind in the future - body changes on a whim, Jang - perpetual teenagers, robots to handle our every needs. The main protagonist of the book faces exile or personality wipe out and chooses to go into exile. Others soon join the outcast in the desert. The QR's whos only purpose is to serve mankind - tries to kill? Against their programming isn't it?
If you enjoy science fiction cum fantasy you'll will like this book. Recomended for young adults.
