Drillbit Taylor (DVD, 2008, Unrated; Extended Survival Edition)

Owen Wilson stars in this off beat comedy about a homeless man who is hired to defend three freshmen high school students.

The movie starts off with the three students being bullied by two seniors, they get fed up with the bullying and decide to hire Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson) to defend them. From there they movie is a series of gags and one liners that leads to the final battle between the kids, Wilson and the bullies.

Unfortunately the movie was not as funny as I expected and the director missed a lot of opportunities to make me laugh.

Wilson is a fine actor and I believe he should have skipped this movie.

I rate this move a 3 out of 5 only because it did entertain me, however I would not recommend anyone buy the movie, rent it so you can take it back when your done with it.

For those of you who enjoy be entertained by Owen Wilson this is a definate Must see. If you liked Superbad you will love this. Who wouldn't find the humor in merdy high school kids with a body guard and not just any body guard but Owen Wilson. May end up being the Ferris Bueller of the new century!! At least rent it and then you won't want to take it back so you will own it. Thats just this guys opinion. Thanks for reading my review and your yes vot would be greatly appreciated!!

I just love this movie I could watch it over and over again. It is very funny and the young actor's are very talented.

In our opinion watching this movie was a complete waste of time. Lude and rediculous! Is it any wonder our youth of this day are clueless when it comes to appropriate behavior and moral character? NOT IMPRESSED :(

I thought the movie was very funny. It also was at a very good price and that included the shipping costs. My kids especially my daughter love the movie it's very funny and once again came at a great price.

Don't get me wrong...for the right viewer this movie is hysterical! However, way too much fowl mouth and inappropriate situations for the younger viewers. I watched it with my kids (13 & 8 yr. old) and I was completely shocked and emabarrased. I eventually had to leave with my younger one. Anyhow, if your old enough you will love it I'm sure.

The movie Drillbit Taylor is a good movie for anyone even kids in my oppion. If you like the movie "SuperBad" then you will love this movie. In this movie the kids and Drillbits attitude work perfectly and there personalities flow perfectly. This is a defenite buy and perfect for your DVD/Movie Collection.

This movie reminds you of when you was a kid. Owen wilson back at what he does best. Making you laugh.

Great movie, owen wilson is hilarious. If you liked 40 year old virgin (same producer) you will love this movie about some high school freshman who hire a bum (to be there bodyguard), a funny movie.

Owen Wilson has managed to take "Superbad" and make his own, and just as funny, indeed! GREAT MOVIE!!
