Dressing the Man by Alan J. Flusser (2002, Hardcover, Illustrated)

This is an excellent book written by an expert.
I will never see my clothes again the same way.
It is full of practical advices and help you to refine your cense of style.

Neiman Marcus sales person highly recommended this book as the guide for choosing timeless men's clothes. I borrowed the book from the library and it was so good I had to buy a copy! The author stresses the importance of purchasing clothes that are the right fit and proportion for each individual rather than following the current fashion whims. There are numerous photos to support the text. This book is a keeper--I highly recommend it!

I had already gotten 2 other books by Alan Flusser, "Style and the Man & Clothes and the Man." He is one of the most interesting writers on the subject of men's style. This is his best work,in my opinion. This book has the best explanations about the evolution of men's style and the particulars of dressing.It's all done in a very factual way, although the language gets a little pretentious at times. If you're going to have one book about men's style to learn from, start with this one. I've now read about 20 books on men's style and consider this to be the cornerstone. Enjoy!

Wonderful book , a must have for men of all ages and stages in life. Really easy to read and interpret suggestions. This would make a great gift and is a timeless reference chock full of information.

The book was in good condition. Expected the book to be delivered within the time frame given; however, I was disappointed in the time it took to actually receive the book.
