This disc is a fantastic showcase for the abundant talent of the founding members, Shimon Moore & Emma Anzai. Mark Goodwin has joined on drums, & the trio just plain ROCK. The vocals are top quality & the instrumentation is superb.
I love this disc & hope that it will be followed up soon with another stellar offering.
The song "All the Same" is great!

For those who don't know, this is the first US release from the Australian band Sick Puppies and features the smash hit All the Same which can be heard on the popular YouTube video Free Hugs. Their music ranges from soft and melodic to mosh-worthy rock anthems; regardless of the sound though, the lyrics are in a league of their own, written as poetry and melded into song. Also, the album artwork is a clever amalgam of ransom note meets grungy angst-filled teen notebooks. Overall there isn't a single thing not to like about this album; if you're a fan of music give this band a listen while they're still "under the radar", and if you like what you hear be sure to pick up their follow-up album Tri-Polar.
