Dreamweaver's Dilemma
For anyone who is a fan of Lois McMaster Bujold this book is great fun. It not only contains a set of earlier short stories, but also some biographical insights and commentary on her approach to creating other worlds. I found it fascinating to watch her getting a handle on some of the characters she would eventually use in her Vorkosigan series, by starting to "feel them out" in short stories.
The pronunciation guide to character's names and places was extremely helpful since my husband and I had some minor disagreements going on how things were correctly pronounced.
