Love & Lizz, another beautiful-jazz album--More Please.

I own her first album, Salt, and I love it. So when this one came out in 2005 I couldn't leave it on the shelf. It is a seamless continuation of Salt in terms of the atmosphere the music sets. Her vocal tones are like dark chocolate, she has a lingering vocal impression. Long after the music stops you will still feel the rhythm.
My Favorite tracks are Stop, I'm Confessing, Without You, & Chasing Strange. It seems that the most common theme is love, buried under the guise of her unique expression of course. If you already own this album consider adding Salt to your collection too. If you don't know where to begin, you can hardly go wrong with either one, though my favorite is Salt (it has a greater number of songs that I absolutely enjoy).
Great to play... on any day. This album feels like the sun's first rays after a days of rain. I road all the back roads one afternoon with this album, and when it ended I turn around and went home. Dreaming Wide Awake was a wonderful travel companion. Enjoy!
