I Dreamed of Africa (DVD, 2000, Closed Captioned)

I love this movie!!! AAAAA+ for Casting, for Acting, and for the beautiful settings on Location. I think Kim Basinger is one of the great actresses of her decade, and this one too. She made a true story come to life on the big screen!

I thought this was an interesting look into life in Africa from the perspective of a wealthy woman with an adventerous side, but who also had no idea what to expect. Beautiful cinematography throughout. It ends up being quite the story, and based on a true story, by the way. I thought it ended well, despite all the harships she has to endure. Worth seeing.

I thought this was a great film with amazing scenes of the Rift Valley in Kenya. It tells the story of an Italian woman and her family and their life in Africa. Kim Basinger does a great job and it has some very touching moments.

Very entertaining based-on-true-story movie with absolutely beautiful African scenes. I could watch it over and over again.
