I Dream of Jeannie: The Complete Series Boxset (DVD, 2008, 20-Disc Set)

I bought the series beccause I loved to watch it when I was growing up. I had bought the second season, & my kids really like it too. The set comes in a bottle. The bottle is made of chipboard. The dvd's are kept in a acordian type envelope at the bottom of the bottle. The bottle is cute. But the dvds can fall out of the bottle easily. The envelope is held together by a little bit of glue at the top. It is a cute idea, but I would rather have the dvd's in a plastic holder. The set comes with cards. On one side is little known information about the show, stars ect. It is fun to read. The other side has episode information. I have enjoyed reading the cards. It is fun to have all the episodes together. I just wish they had done a better job of protecting the dvds

I really thought the case shaped like Jeannies bottle was neat, although it could have a little more sturdy. You have to be careful with it or it comes apart really easy. Also storage is a problem, it doesnt fit in a bookcase easily, it has to be left out. If I had the purchase to do over I would prefer to have bought the seasons in individual boxes. The dvds are excellent quality. If displaying the bottle is what you are looking for then this product is for you.

It was a great deal on a BRAND NEW item!!! I will definitely look on Ebay for an item before I go to the store and pay full price for an item!!!!

Imagine reliving your favorite childhood show anytime you wish instead of settling for one or two shows in syndication each weekday afternoon (if you are fortunate). :)

Sure, lots of older shows are out on DVD now, but few are as good a value or as nicely packaged as this "I Dream of Jeannie" set.

It is also cool to have the cards and seeing the first season so well colorized. Many times they don't do that very well, but you have to look closely to tell whether or not it was actually shot in color originally and then only shown in b/w. It is that good. :)

I highly recommend this set and have gotten more than my money's worth out of it so far and am only half way through it.

I am 40 and my 12 yr old son is loving it as well. Great, clean fun for the entire family.

love this show wish there were more episodes can watch them over and over she was a fox and bill daily was very funny
