I bought this book because for years I have admired and used these kinds of books by Burne Hogarth. He is a premier artist able to depict the human body the way Michael Angelo did. Magnificent!
And to have bought one signed by him was a huge plus for me.
I have only been disappointed 1 time in all of my 10 or more years buying from Ebay. My excitement when finding a treasure is still with me

) This book goes slowly and speaks in short to the point sentences. It will help! Getting those silhouettes into definition and depth... that's the hard headed part!

) One of the best books on drawing the head I've ever seen. At the very well known Art college that I go to, they use Burne for some of his amazing work to explain how to draw the head. This book is a must for any serious artist.

I like the fact that this study of the human head includes every possible angle. It shows how the perspective of age affects the drawing of the head and the facial features. It includes the structure of the head. This is probably the best book I have ever read about this particular problem for artists. I am an artist for over 50 years and my copy of this book was never returned to me so this is a replacement. Any artist who studies drawing people should have this on his/her reference bookshelf.
