If you're not a fan, you might still enjoy watching it. It might be beautiful, coming from a genius idea and be ahead of its time... the gameplay was not as developped in 1983 as it is today. A must have for a retro gamer (and all other Don Bluth BRDs)

I remember playing Dragon's Lair in the local Video Arcade when it first came out. Back then it was a new generation of Video Game Technology and the popularity was extremely high. People would line up waiting their turn to play and they would have a monitor on top of the game so people can watch what is happening. To see Dragon's Lair in High Definition not only preserves the game but brings out the best in the animation of Don Bluth. I recommend buying the Blu-Ray DVD for those who want the best quality and a great price.

) God knows how many quarters i put in the Dragon's Lair machine when i was a kid! It is nice to not have to pound quarters into it. I owned this on Sega CD a long time ago but this version is much better.

First played it at Arry's hamburger stand (Montebello,Ca) in 1983, loved it ever since but could not remember the name. Now I have it, and it brings back all the memories, Super cool!
