Dragon Tales - Believe In Yourself! (DVD, 2004)

I bought the dragon tales dvd for my son, who is infatuated with the cartoon. The show has different episodes, up to an hour of continuous play and my son watches it over and over. It is also a good way for him to be exposed to learning to how to treat other kids his age and to have a good friendship with others.

I bought it since my grandson loves the Dragon Tales. He so enjoyed watching this. He sat in my lap and we watched this together. That is why I bought it. :)

A very good DVD for the younger set.... My 3 yr old loved it but The 5 and a half was not interested.... Too young for her

This DVD has five Dragon Tales episodes about gaining confidence. In "Head Over Heels" Emmy cannot do a cartwheel, but needs to do one to pay the toll to the Tollbooth Trool in order to get past and help deliver gazpacho to Quetzal's sick brother. With the help of her friends she learns how to do it and gains confidence in herself. In "The Balancing Act" Ord looses Emmy's skateboard when he because he does not have good balance, but on their adventure to find it he finds ways to practice balancing. In "Just for Laughs" the gang is on a hunt for hidden eggs with riddle clues to help them and a pait of toddler twins that offer unexpected help along the way. In "Lucky Stone" Ord gains confidence in his ability to perform flying tricks even without his lucky heart shaped stone when he loses it. In "On Thin Ice" Zak is worried about learning to skate and getting hurt, but with the help of his friends Zak and Wheezy learn to skate.

This movie, like all Dragon Tales movies I've seen, was postive and taught many little lessons. I love the themes and how it teaches children to handle and deal with situations they will face. I highly recommend this show to any parent who wishes to instill good morals and behaviors in their children.
