Atari made Dragon Ball Z Budokai 1&2 and now a 3.With great graphics,controls and sound a legend is born.The game is just way better than its prodecessor the game fighting system change was great with more abilites,capsules and characters you just can't go wrong here.I have to admit I thought the game would be the same as budokai 2 but I was dead wrong.The game was on a different league than budokai 1 and 2 however Atari strictly decided to keep the game based on the anime and took out the what if potara fusions like gokule and tiencha.It is still a great game that I recommend to all who read this.Buy a copy at ebay they're cheap there.

If you like DBZ, you'll love this game, its a must buy. Every character you can imagine in the DBZ Universe is playable, all with their signature moves. The story mode must be completed a few times for the main characters in order to get all the capsules, which gets somewhat repetitve, but other than that the game is very fun. The two player mode is also entertaining, a good way to kill some time with a buddy. If you like DBZ, pick it up ASAP!

I like it a lot but: Too many routinary moves. Also, the first time I played it, I immediately was able to defeat all the characters at highest difficulty settings. Not too challenging in my opinion. Once you can beat them all up, it gets boring.

nice fast paced game, with great graphics and great repeatable play, My son (15yrs) old loves it and has been playing it for a while now, makes a great gift for the boys and girls that like this type of game!

This is an excellent game! There is a vast amount of characters and the graphics are just beautiful! Story mode alows you to fly around the dbz universe collecting dragon balls, money, and starting fights.
With such a vast amount of things to do, this game will entertain for hours!

Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 ReviewI love the condition of this product. The case was in excellent condition like brand new. The CD was in excellent condition as well, no starches that I could find on it. The fact that the original instruction manual was with the case was awesome. I have been looking at used game stores for almost a year for this game. Very rare find, especially with the original case and instruction manual. All I could find was the game disc. Thank you for this wonderful product I am going to enjoy may hours of playing it.

This is another one of the action packed explosive filled games that bring the characters of Dragonball/Z/GT to an fun interactive setting. The dragon universe is a massive improvement upon the ones employed in Budokai 1 and 2, and the character selection and battle system as well as move selection, set the very foundation for the now popular Tenkaichi strain of this game series. Having played them all, I actually rate this one as a cut above all the others, and love logging the time to get all the capsules/techniques so that my younger siblings and I may lay waste to each other in a competitive interactive fit of multi-player computer carnage. If you are a DBZ fan and don't want to break your bank getting a third generation system. This is the game I would recommend for you, without a second of hesitation.--Look out in that second kid buu will be behind you starting a warp Kamehameha

) well my son have every game that every came out of d.b.z so of course he had to get this one as well , it is so action packed and there is so much to unlock you cant get board anytime soon, the graphics are awsome and there is never a dull moment on this game it is well worth the money , and its not expensive at all , give it a try i dont think you will regret it , happy holidays to all :)

The famous series comes back for a third game. Most say this is the best yet,and I would have to agree. I would also say that if you know of the DB,DBZ and GT series..then this is the game for you. If your a fan of fighting games,it's also worth the money to get.
Everything about the game is done well,even the English voice actors from the series return for the characters here in the game. There are special moves,secret moves and stage special attacks that your fighter can do against the opponent.
When 2 skilled players are at each other,the game can really show it's good features. It's also a game that will have you playing for a long time,with a lot of things to unlock..it has a high replay value.

This game is one of the best DBZ gamesThis game is one of the DBZ Game alive I'm not saying Budokai 1,2 and Tenkichi 1,2,3 is great they are up there too I like DBZ Budokai 3 because u dont have to have split combat and we can play and earn moves to make the game more exciting to me and that why i like DBZ budokai 3.

I have been a Dragonball Z Fan for at least 15 years now on, I always wanted to see a battle game and until a few years back i was able to see on the PS2 the new games, from all of the different ones the one that I most liked is this one, best graphics, combo modes and story lines, I dont like Tenkaichi, but still I have played it.
I am interested on getting the DBZ BurstLimit, but still I am not up to wasting money, I have a couple of Games pending on my list, still if you are looking for a cheap game, go for this one, from the 3 out there this one is the best, and compared to the Tenkaichi Familiy, this one has better game mode for 2 and it resembles a lot the original fighting games we are used to, good luck on buying DBZ games.
