I bought this book a month ago and cheaper than I thought, its very informational about dr martens shoes and boots on the past,all the colored picture and well written info about dr martens,I'd personally recommend this book for a person who is dr martens shoes fans.

) Since I have worn Doc's since 75'(DM Cappers was my first pair) this book is about the love and heritage for the boots put into words. This book gives and unbiased view on subcultures that made the boots what they are to day (Or was up to 2003)for and by people like me who wore them long before they became a main stream thing.This is history from all sides of the table, from the early reggae loving working class skinheads to the high street yuppies via the middle class hippies,the punks,the psychobillys...they are all there and they all have their own stories to tell about the boots..from bovver too to the old bill..it's all there.A Must for any one who ever had (and hopefully still have) an English Made Pair Of Dr.Martens
