Dr. Mario (Game Boy)

The game works great on my gameboy sp except for the fact the 2 player option doesn't work when you try to click on it at the start menu. I play it alone, so it wasn't that big of a loss.

I arguably see a lot of classic video games come back again. Yet, with all of those, many games have had a very little opportunity of a cult following. In 1989, puzzle games really did bacome a staple of the video game industry with the smashing status of the addictive Tetris. That game has been so amazing, very few knockoffs have also stayed the course. Dr. Mario was also one of those games that has been a constant for Nintendo owners. From the debut for the original NES system, to all the way on the N64 wave awhile back, Dr. Mario has been a surprising standout, and now Game Boy owners can feel the viruses again.

Dr. Mario: The NES version for thr Game Boy Advance, still remains as addictive as it was a staple for NES owners years ago. The game has 20 wild and wolly levels of pure puzzle action that just keeps getting more complex by the minute. In the game, you try to fill the medicing bottle by stacking four parts of pills either across or vertically to attack the viruses. The game is very easy to tackle, and brings out a good sense of challenge. However, there are a few surprising disadvantages to the game. One of them is that for some, it is a lack of challenge, especially if you've mastered the whole game years ago for the NES, or any of the other revised versions. Another disadvatage is that the game doesn't bring out anything new, considering it is the exact same version without any different things to make it unique again for Game Boy players.

Nevertheless, Dr. Mario is a pure wild delight for anybody who is addicted to puzzles. I loved this game before for the original Nintendo system, and I still love it now. Hopefully, many in this generation can keeps those viruses away and bring the pills going. This is a must have for the Game Boy Advance.

This Gameboy version of the popular Dr. Mario, lacks the graphic resolution to play the game with much enjoyment. Ypur to busy trying to determine if the shaded pills are dotted or dashed, and I dont know where the "color" comes into play?

Your typical game, but frustrating to older people and a blast for the younger crowd. I bought this game for my Mother who is older and she likes it, but my 23 year old daughter mastered it in no time. Dr. Mario or Mario period was always game of choice in our household and looks like his skillful games will reign again.

I bought the Dr. Mario game for my niece who had purchased a Game Boy at a garage sale. It only came with one game so we were thrilled to be able to find games for it on ebay.

An oldie but goodie. This is like Tetris with a Mario Bros. twist. A good game for all ages. Dr. Mario features different levels of play. Helps with color matching and eye-hand coordination. As you complete each level the "pills" drop faster. A excellent non-violent game for kids to play and a stress reliever for adults.

I loved playing on my neice's Gameboy when we were vacationing together but would have never taken the time to shop for myself. I really don't like to shop and don't have the time. Ebay shopping is so easy and convenient that when I saw the game I couldn't pass it up! Playing this mindless game on my son's Gameboy is what I do to relax in the evening. I love shopping on EBAY!

i got the game which i am collecting all the games for me to play...even for my nephew to play also.... since i am game lady to like to play for me....

I have been looking for this game. I played it as a child and I knew my children would love it too. Of course, I found it on ebay and the price was awesome. The game was used, however, in mint condition.

I love the classic Dr. Mario and it was everything I remembered. The game in excellent condition and very quickly. It was definitely a great purchase.

Dr. Mario is a great game, but I'm hoping it gets a little more challening. It is a great alternative to Tetris
