Dr. Mario (Nintendo, 1990)

This game is almost like Tetris. You must stack pills on top of each other kinda like Tetris instead of using blocks. Great gameplay and all sorts of stuff to do in the game. I give it a 3/5 because I've seen this type of game done before.

Even though Mario spent most of his time dealing with plumbing problems and saving the princess, he somehow managed to get his degree in medicine. Your task....help destroy the viruses. Most Tetris players may find it similar to it. Dr. Mario is extremely similar to Tetris II.

Dr. Mario is completely addictive! If you love the Tetris series, no doubt you'll be hooked in minutes.

Graphics: 7.5/10
There are three different background patterns depending on the speed setting that you chose. Though nothing too fancy, there are some fun things.

Sound: 6/10
Besides a few choices of music, the sound is what one would expect from a NES game. Some tunes manage to be catchy, but get stuck in your head after a while.

Overall: 9/10
A great game whether playing alone or with an opponent. However, if puzzle games don’t appeal to you, it's most likely you're not going to like this game.

Bring you back to being a kid again. Great game I like the 2 player mode best.
I bought it cause it was a childhood game and with my kids i figured they would love it too and they do. There is nothing that i dislike. The other thing that is real good about this game with the 2 player mode is that you can set your level too 11 and have your kids at 2 ( make it fair on them) or the other way around :)

This product was as good, if not better, than described. This was a title that my kids and I use to play when they were younger. Bought the system for my Son this past Christmas (as a vintage system) on e bay--this too was a great buy.

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

As a kid growing up I owned this game and had to have it back. Just line up marios pills to kill the viruses. It is a great alternative to tetris, just as fun.

I love this little game because my little 4 year old can play it and have some fun with the older kids.
