This is a thorough book on Dr. Denese's philosophy on not only skin care but anti-aging. It runs the gamet from diet to product to medical intervention (when necessary). It is written in clear and concise language and does inject humour at times, which makes the book an easy read, which I did not expect. Dr. Denese is a clear leader in her field and certainly a expert scientist. This is not just "cosmecuticals". This is a lifestyle and a methodology to counteract current damage to ourselves and our skin, prevent future damage and Dr. Denese gives us a prescription to move on in our lives with a healthier lifestyle that will promote healthier living, combating the fight against aging and certainly protecting our most abused asset, the skin. My first husband died of melanoma at a very young age. If you've ever watched someone die of melanoma, you will never look at skin care the same again. Dr. Denese says that in her book and I am living proof. None of my three children have EVER had a sunburn. By the grace of of God, they never will.
