Great Great book, it teaches you a new way of eating. Cut the carbs, lost weight & feel better. In 30 days i have lost 20 lbs and this is the longest i have been on any diet. Staying away from bad carbs has help my carvings, so that helps you on this diet. You can eat a wide range of food on this diet, just stay away from man made sugar. I have diabetes & after doing this diet my bloodsugar are at good levels, so i don't have to take my meds. I used to be sleepy all day and take daytime naps. Now a feel the best i feel in years and no more napping. On the web site www.atkins.com you can read & ask questions on the different forums, learning from the people that are doing the the diet. Also there's are small course you can take on line that's all free. If you want to lose weight & feel good this is the book. Good luck on your journey!
