Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution by Robert C. Atkins M.D. (2001, Paperback, Revised)

This book has a ton of scientific info. Atkins breaks down how the body looses weight in plain english. I personally lost 145 lbs using the atkins diet. There are many things in this book to scare you into living your life in a healthier way. The thing that scared me most was the facts he gave about what sugar does to your body on a cellular level. I believe he used the term cooking, as in sugar cooks our cells from the inside out causing rapid aging. Since I read this book I have lived a much healthier lifestyle and I feel GREAT. I would recomend this book for anyone who has always had a hard time with their weight, you may be doing things that you dont even know are causing you to gain. This book will give you the knowledge that you need to do it.

I love all about the book and the author. Is a Very interesting material, made whit simples words to help the reading. I'd recommend the book if you're on a budget.

I USUALLY DON'T WRITE REVIEWS BUT I WILL ADVISE ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO LOOSE WEIGHT TO TRY THIS DIET. I LOVE THE FACT THAT I AM NOT HUNGRY ALL THE TIME. I DID CRAVE SUGAR AFTER SEVERAL DAYS. I HAVE BEEN ON THE ATKINS DIET FOR TWO WEEKS AND I HAVE LOST SEVEN POUNDS.

got the book because i was trying to get on a healthy eating pattern.But as a breastfeeding mother i cant do the full program.what i did not like about it was that it did not explain why i could not do it, if there were any adverse effects on the baby or just did not meet his nutritional needs.

This is an interesting book with lots of medical information about eating and dieting. The diet works if you follow the book; I lost weight with it. For me now, focusing on eating properly and exercise keeps the weight off.

I bought this book because I just had a baby and wanted to loose weight. I honestly haven't used it yet!! I best get on that. I did read through it. I have used to before and it works well.

We wanted to check out the diet. so we bought the book from ebay. it did take a little longer than usual to get here tho.
