) I bought the book for Biology class. I liked the book because even though the topic was very involved, the author did a good job of sharing the frustration of the times, the humanity of the scientific community wrought with shortcomings and often synchronistic discoveries.

It's a really great book. The autobiography account of Watson and Crick's discovery is very detailed.
