Dora the Explorer by Original Soundtrack (CD, Sep-2004, Nick Records)

I have to give this 5 stars based on my toddlers reaction (its one of those CDs that might drive parents a little crazy but it makes up for itself when we see the reaction if gets from the age group for which this was intended!!)
These CD has a whopping 44 songs, some very obvious choices based off the TV show - the Dora Theme song, I'm a map, Backback, along with a Dora twist in some old favorites such as Twinkle little star and Itsy Bitsy Spider! it has some songs that are Spanish os nature which our little one loves and really gets grooving too!!
The songs are short (hence being able to get 44 on a single CD!) but catchy and we found that even though our toddler may not have been familiar with every track before we bought it, this soon changed and within a couple of plays, she was singing along and dancing to the whole CD!!
There are a couple of songs that are pretty repetitive of earlier tracks...but children enjoy repetition so this works well!
This CD is perfect for any fan of the Dora TV show...but just a note of caution for parents...this is not a before bed play...its entertaining, lively and gets toddlers dancing along...but certainly not sleepy!
