DOOM 3 which is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2004 for Xbox and PC will take gamers on a trip through the terrifying depths of Hell with a level of visual realism never before seen in the series.

    Doom 3is a classic. The graphics on this are very nice and the engine designed by iD provides excellent gameplay. This FPS is exciting and scary. This is probably the only game that I have to play with the lights on and the volume low. Late at night this game can be very heart pumping and thrilling. Unlike other games in which you don't get involved in it, Doom 3 draws you in and you become apart of the game.

    To the makers of Doom 3...How Could You????

    Call me old fashioned, but I miss the days where Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails produced the Soundtrack and you could run around shooting numerous aliens and monsters through amazing worlds.

    I was very excited when I found out about this game. You see, I'm from the original Doom players for PC. The Xbox is my system of choice and I figured that it would be a perfect fit. I was very, very wrong.

    The online play is too fast and a waste of time. If you want to have an epileptic seizure after 10 minutes of being killed over and over by online opponents. Online play with Doom 3 shows NO strategy.

    The actual gameplay isn't very good. The graphics could be better and the screen was much too dark. I tried making the screen brighter (I also have HDTV) but it still didn't make much difference. Needless to say, I traded it in at my local game store within 3 days. It was a waste of money. If you are looking for a similar game to this, try all of the Quake series, Ghost Recon, Call of Duty and the Tom Clancy series of games. Those serve a much better purpose for action than this waste of time.
