Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil (Xbox)

If you like the first Doom 3 this is a must, pretty much a continuation of the first game but more challenging............definately a must have!!!!!!!!

This game cd has many features where, instead of playing just the doom 3 main game, there is also option of playing the classics like doom with the 3 neat episodes that used to be for the computer, an added episode I think from final doom, and all of doom 2.

The neatest part of this feature is that you can have up to 4 players on 1 screen. I remember when it was hard to get doom or doom 2 to work under 3 players on the computer with the modem or serial link, but now can play deathmatch or co-op under 4 player.

Someday, I'll get around to play doom 3, the reason for this cd, but until then, letting the classics rule!

What i liked about the game was the graphics, the guns, and the game play. What I disliked about it was the levels they were very easy and short, but its
still good and emotional I decided to buy it because I needed it for my Doom 3
collection and I also needed to see what happends after Doom 3 the first part was over.This is a good game for anyone who is a big Doom fan or even for big
sci-fi fans.

Being a fan of the entire doom series beginning with the first doom, my expectations were high when I heard about this expansion. I was not disappointed. Excellent graphics, multiple difficulty levels, new monsters and the gravity gun are just a couple of the many things that great about this game. For any FPS game lover out there, this game is a must and I highly recommend it.

The game is a good first person shooter, but not the best out there. The main reason I bought it is because it has the original doom and doom 2 and the master levels which I think are way fun.

This game is a stand-alone expansion for Doom3. Because it's a console title it doesn't require that you own Doom3, this acts as it's own game. Unlike Doom3, this game is a bit more fast-paced. It's also more intense with the new weapons and new enemies that they throw at you in hordes. An all-around awesome shooter. Even though it's an original Xbox title, it's still one of the better first person shooters out there by far.

If you liked Doom 3 (or any of the Doom games for that matter), you'll probably enjoy this. The game gives the classic "creepy" feeling, leaving the player with the paranoid, heart-in-throat feeling that something's juuust around that corner. Though the game could've been longer, this already was an expansion on an already pretty decent length game, not a sequel. It's a good excuse to take a chainsaw to a zombie marine or double-barrel shotgun to a demon.

I haven't seen my kids since it arrived, so it must be a good game :)I've seeen the Doom games before, and the are graphic, but my kids are old enough to handle it. The tell me they really like the game, and it arrived in excellent condition. Thanks!!

The gameplay, it has awsome grafics and easy controls. I've played the game before and loved the game.

The Good
-Action-packed
-New weapons like the grabber and the double-barrel shotgun
-The ability to stop time is very handy when clearing out rooms of baddies
-Includes classic Doom which is always fun

The Bad
-A little short
-Nothing much has changed for online multiplayer
-No co-op mode

The Verdict
Must play if you loved Doom 3. Can probably pass as a rental though. There isn't much replay value without co-op except for the time-altering artifact and classic Doom. Still a great action-packed sequel though. Kiddies once again should stay far away.

The game is boring. The game was alright just not like the 1st one. But it had no scratches or nothing, It played great. The person I got it from took care of it. Or it just sat in the case the whole time because it sucked.

If you're a doom fan then this game definitely needs to be added to the collection. Doom was the game that got me into video games. This expansion is definitely worth the time and the money if you like the doom 3 feel.

I thought it was a full game compatable with my XBOX 360 but I haven't played it yet. Not sure how it will work or if it does.

I bought it to round out my game collection. It plays perfect!! I've played the Doom series since way back in 1995, starting with the PC version. I've been hooked ever since!!
