Album Notes The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Duke Kitchens (vocals, guitar, piano); Elias Reidy (vocals, guitar); Joey Westwood (vocals, bass guitar); Jon Wilkes (vocals, drums); Ronnie Winter (vocals). Recording information: Water Music Recorders, Hoboken, New Jersey. On its debut full-length, Florida's The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus performs a mix of pop-metal, emo, and hardcore, with songs like the opening "In Fate's Hands" and "Misery Loves Its Company" showing that the youthful outfit has already gained mastery of the impassioned rock anthem. The ballad "Cat and Mouse" displays the realization that life in the real world bears little relation to reality TV, while the rocking "Seventeen Ain't So Sweet" blends acute lyrical observation with hard-edged musical skills. | Find errors in the product description? Reviews Review created: 03/03/08 by: I liked the music on the CD---THAT IS THE CUTS THAT DID NOT SKIP AND ACTUALLY PLAYED. I was a bit dismayed when I could not hear all the selections. I think the band is out there...beyond the reach of many but for some it is on the spot, interesting, and mundane plus. Review ID: 10000000005922968 Was this review helpful? It is not anything groundbreaking, nor does it have real "staying power" for me, but it is definately a good set of songs. I would imagine this as a great CD for anyone who is a fan of modern rock. She loves it, my son loves it and I like it as well. It is a great CD. Review ID: 10000000004916654 Was this review helpful? Report this review I really enjoy when I pick up a CD and I am able to listen to every single track on it and enjoy every single track. This is a CD that is in my favorites for sure. Brilliant execution of rock and also slow styles. Guardian Angle is one of my favorite tracks on this album also. Basically, I can't wait for RJA to come out with another album and I will be one of the first to purchase it. Review ID: 10000000003860733 Was this review helpful? Report this review |
