Despite its TV-movie feel and Byzantine plot, "Don't Talk to Strangers" is a fairly involving suspense-thriller. Pierce Brosnan stars as a stranger who insinuates himself into the lives of a woman and her young son. After gaining custody of her son, Shanna Reed (of TV's "Major Dad") has a whirlwind romance and marries Brosnan. Menaced by her ex-husband (Terry O'Quinn), the newly-formed family decides to start fresh in a new town. On the road, Reed and her son are pursued, the boy is kidnapped, and the far-fetched truths are slowly uncovered.
