Synopsis Contemporary romance writer Jennifer Crusie teams up with thriller writer Bob Mayer for this humorous work of romantic suspense. Commercial director Lucy Armstrong steps in at the last minute to finish shooting a nearly complete action movie, landing herself neck-deep in trouble: the film's got a bad script, actors who are all ego and no talent, and her irritating ex-husband as the stunt director. She also finds the leading man's stunt double and military advisor, Captain J.T. Wilder, more of a hindrance than a help...that is, until the real bullets start flying on the set.

Industry Reviews "[A] nutty swampland romp....Plenty of big guns, helicopters, clichéd gender dynamics and light repartee...and it's all in good fun." (02/27/2006)
"Bless the day that Crusie and Mayer sat down to chat, for this collaboration is inspired! All of the humor and irony from Crusie's previous books is here in full force, but now it's ratcheted up with a male action-adventure perspective." (TOP PICK!) (04/01/2006)
