I purchased 5 of these books on Ebay to teach a Bible class to some homeschool kids. The basis of the book is for Christian teenagers to know what they believe & why. Josh McDowell, the author, wrote the book Evidence That Demands a Verdict, which I think is the adult version of this book. The kids have really enjoyed the study. There is a bit of humor added, it is nice for them to learn while having a bit of fun too. The kids seem to love the chapter titles. A few of the chapter titles are The Cosmic Cop, The Bible & Swiss Cheese, The Luke Skywalker God & Potted Plants Don't Answer Prayer. The chapters are not real long, so I have them do 2-3 for a weekly study. At the end of each chapter there is a "workout" section. This consists of looking up some Bible verses & answering questions pertaining to the chapters subject. The workout sections vary in size with some being a bit more work than others. The only drawback I would see is that it may be a little too easy for some more mature teens. I am teaching ages 12-18 & they have all done well with it. There are 42 chapters in the book at it is 194 pages long. I recommend it to anyone who wants to give teens a solid foundation in the Christian basic beliefs.
