Don't Bet Against Me! by Angela Elwell Hunt, Angela Hunt, Deanna Favre (2007, Hardcover)

Deanna Favre is such a class act and and the epitomy of a woman in my opinion - even though she would be the last to admit it. I have nothing but respect and admiration for her. Her booth interview by the announcers of Monday Night Football back in November '07 was one that endeared her to many and reinforced the case for just what kind of upstanding woman she is; including Mike Trico and the other announcers. I purchased this book primarily for my elderly mother as a gift, and of course my plans are to read it also. Although a good friend of mine had breast cancer, the topic was not so much the reason that I had purchased it, but because of Deanna's faith, and her strong and supportive nature, and the overall message that she conveys by just being the person that she is. I plan to follow up on this review once I have actually read the book, but I'm sure that the experience will only reinforce the love and respect felt for such a fine example of a woman.
