Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (Game Cube, 2005)

This is my second Jungle Beat I bought. The neighbor kid played ours and loved it. So he got one for his 8th birthday. This is a great game lots of fun for any age. I am not much of a game player but I sneak a game when I want a break when the kids are not around. I play till my hands and arms get tired. You really dont have to hit hard it is just fun. I have not played it with out bongos I dont know if it would be much fun.

It is rated T I have no idea why. There is punching but it is more like a boxing match between two animals at the end of a level. It is not a fighting game. You collect bananas as you run and jump and float through the worlds. I would rate it E.

It is too bad it is only single player. I also got Donkey Konga 2 for use with the bongos. It is multi player it is also fun. Good for a group and the only game I can consistently beat my 5 year old at so far.

GO TO EBGAMES OR GAMESTOP WHEN ON SALE. RECENTLY THEY HAD IT ON SALE FOR $15, WHICH INCLUDED AN EXTRA SET OF BONGOS. WHAT MOST WILL NOT TELL YOU IS THAT THE JUNGLE BEAT GAME IS A SINGLE PLAYER GAME. THE EXTRA SET OF BONGOS COMES IN HANDY ONLY IF YOU INTEND UPON BUYING THE OTHER TWO DONKEY KONGA GAMES. THESE GAMES ALLOW YOU TO CONNECT UP TO 4 SETS OF BONGOS. SHOP AROUND ON THESE USED TITLES, AS THEY CAN BE HAD FOR $12 OR LESS.

If you play it long enough you get a work out. Great fun for any age. A bit tricky some may found it hard to control Donkey Kong with the bongos. With a little practice it get's easier.

THIS IS A REALLY GOOD GAME FOR THE CHILDERN AS THERE IS NO VIOLANCE IN IT. AND OF COURSE HE HAD TO HAVE THE BONGO DRUMS TO GO WITH IT. I ENJOY WATCHING HIM PLAY IT.

Was not sure what the game was about, but when I received it, my 36 year old son could not quite playing it. It makes you have to stay focused and deals with a hard working attitude to achieve your winning goal. He even took the game home so he could play more. Great fun.

Grandson who is 4 years old "LOVES" this game. Won't put it down. He thinks that he is KING KONG. He also loves the bongo's. Well worth the money when it makes the grandson happy.

I got a GC with the Bongos and Donkey Konga and loved it so much I wanted to get more bongo games, so I got Konga2 and Jungle Beat. Jungle Beat I purchased without looking much just because I wanted another bongo game.

It's an action game, not a rhythm game; a blast for the first hour or so, but I would expect that most can finish it in about three hours. Fairly unique at first, it gets old quick. It's also super easy, I didn't die while playing, but I did get bored fast.

Fun item for my children. Bought it because my son wanted it and it was much cheaper than purchasing retail

the kids all love this classic it really use hand cooridnation and is just a fun game that the whole family can sit and enjoy

I received the game 12 days later and when I got it, the game does not even work. My son was very upset, he was really looking forward to playing the game and after waiting two weeks for the game only to be disappointed

It is fun and is for a kid to play and I like the colors and it remind me of the old Donkey Kong from intelvision,but not the same.

I love the price. the game works good hours of enjoyment but i dislike the part that only one person can play at a time.

Every thing the seller said about the game was true and I am very happy with both the game and will always look for the same seller to purchase any other games from in the future. A very interactive game for kids. Kids are able to exercise their arms. This is a good gaame as long as you can withstand the drums and clapping, but what are games for anyway?
