Edgy Drama About Larger Than Life Bounty HunterReview created: 09/19/06

Keira Knightley portrays the larger than life adventures of the real Domino Harvey. In this original Tony Scott adventure, we take a glimpse into the action packed life of a real life bounty hunter. The script is tight and the cinematography is stylized in a way that seems appropriate for this movie. This movie shows the underbelly of the bounty hunter trade, and Keira Knightley plays a pretty tough Domino Harvey.
The real Domino Harvey was a technical consultant during production, but she was apparently unhappy with the way that the script portrayed her life as a hollywood fantasy. Domino was discussing the creation of a documentary to depict the real life of bounty hunters. Unfortunately, she died before the movie was released, and was never able to realize her documentary project.
This movie was panned when it was in the theaters, but I think it's definitely a movie worth watching. Mickey Rourke plays Dominos Bounty Hunter boss, and does an excellent job of playing a tough-guy bounty hunter. This movie provides plenty of action with a good script. I wholeheartedly recommend this movie!

WHAT A WASTE!
) Not fun to watch. This entire film is shot in 1 to 4 second time frames (fast, up close, and out of focus) just like a stupid TV crime drama, which I freakin' hate. SUCKED!!!

Domino primarily makes a good rental and a purchase for some. If you want action, bounty hunters, and a suspenseful story, Domino is for you.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed Domino. Keira Knightley is excellent in the lead role, especially because it's such a different type of role than what she normally plays. The action scenes are well shot, the story is interesting, and I only found out at the end of the movie that it IS based on a true story.
Nice plot twists, great cinematography, good acting, entertaining. What else can you ask for? :-)

This movie is fun and flashy but lacks in the acting department. Domino felt watered down, despite her cruel/aggressive actions. The plot is easy to follow. Sometimes the movie gets slow, but it does a decent job of building to the climax. The ending does not disappoint, but I still get that feeling that I got after watching Mission Impossible III: The story and characters were weak. The strongest actress of the cast was Lucy Liu, and she only had a small part. This movie isn't a waste of time, but it's not an example of a great action movie.

Great price fromm the vendor. This movie is perfect gift for a Dog the Bounty Hunter fan, whether man or woman. Action packed and based on a true story of a real female bounty hunter, it's worth seeing.

I really enjoyed this under-rated movie. It was very inexpensive and worth the 2 bucks or so paid. I sayw it on HBO and wanted it for my collection, so I picked it up on eBay. It does have some big name stars in it if you care about actor/actresses names. I care about the plot. And in this movie, the plot counts.

dominoThis film is like LSD. Scott and the acting crew do a fantastic job in telling a story loosely based on female bounty hunter Domino Harvey. There is lots of action and attitude in this film. The story and cinematography will grab the viewers attention. I highly recomend this film.

I really had no desire to see this film but I ended up buying it cheap on eBay (under $4). After I watched it, I was surprised how entertaining it was. I'm not a real big fan of the fast editing cuts made in the film but the performances were strong. I liked the guys from 90210 in it. They were really funny playing themselves. Keira Knightley is smokin' hot as Domino Harvey and she gets topless (briefly) in a love scene. It's a little difficult to believe her as a tough bounty hunter though. There was also plenty of action and some witty dialogue. It's not a chick flick but a chaotic action/comedy/suspense/thrille

I bought this video because Kiera Knightly is the star, and it was based on a true story to boot.
The video was average, though I did enjoy Kiera's performance.
I can't say it is or will be a favorite of mine.
