The Doll People by Ann M. Martin, Laura Godwin (2004, Hardcover)

These are beautiful books. Great books for my 10 year old, who still likes dolls, but is getting older, and her dolls are starting to take a back seat to other interests. I thought these books would be an additional way to enjoy dolls and I was right. They were put under the Christmas tree and were admired not only by my daughter, but also by friends and relatives. The books are gorgeous. My 82 year old mother really liked the pictures and details on the book cover. It brought back memories of the dolls of her childhood. I got immediately annoyed when my daughter showed me the Meanest Doll in The World book; only to realize the doll wrote and scribbled in the book. That was too funny! My daughter received many books this Christmas. If you have a girl who loves books and dolls, this book series makes an excellent gift.

My 9 year old daughter absolutely loved these books. She couldn't wait to see what happened next. The book has great illustration in it which she also loved.

This is required reading for school. Both my daughters enjoyed this book. The are work in the book is perfect. They also scored very well on the test for required reading. This is a book that they have read over and over again and enjoy talking about it. For anyone with a little girl, 8-11 years old, this would be an excellent purchase for them. Thanks
