Dogz (Game Boy Advance, 2005)

I recommend this game to dog-loving GBA players everywhere. The point of this game is to raise your puppy for 3 weeks. After this, you unlock "Always Together Mode" which is a puppy free play. In the normal mode however, your job is to take care of and train your puppy. In the beginning, you choose what kind of dog you would like: Its gender (boy or girl), demeanor (energetic or relaxed), and its size (small or large). Then you watch a small cutscene and pick your puppy. If you don't like the breeds in the first shop, you can continuously switch between pet shops. After that, you can train your puppy any way you please. In "Always Together Mode", you can do what you want when you want. No events take place, no one is there to talk to, just you and your puppy. Everything is unlocked as well. However in this mode, you can't take walks.

This game is a great game for any dog lover. It has so many breeds to choose from and it really can help you learn the responsibilites of having a puppy. The good thing is your child won't be devastated because the dog "died" or "ran away".
Even if you don't feed it, always scold it, and never pay attention to it, it will NEVER die or runaway.
Trust me, I played this game and since it didn't "die" or "run away" for me, it won't for you.

I truly reccommend Dogz and Nintendogs for the Ds and PC more than this.
Nintendogs definately has better pictures of the dogs and Dogz 5 for the Pc has the WORST. Although, if you want to have a dog that grows up and has puppies get DOGZ 5 for the PC!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this item for my daughter for christmas. The price was good and the shipping was fast. The seller had good comunication if I had a question I recieved an answer. The problem I had was the box was a little beat up and I was concerned that game would be damaged but all was fine.

I got Dogz for both of my girls and they both love it. Both games shipped in quickly and the girls took to the game immediately. They barely ever put it down. The oldest continues the game and the youngest keeps starting new games. It keeps them real busy.

Purchased this game and gameboy catz from the same seller because they offered a discount in shipping for multiple items. The game did not come in the box which was not specified by the seller. They shipped quickly and were packaged well. They are a Christmas gift so a box would have been nice.

Bought this game for grandsons. Ages 5-8-10 thinking it was a long shot if they would enjoy. It turns out they all enjoy this game. Even my youngest who doesn't read this game is done in a way that he watches the pictures and fugures it out. Few times he has asked to read something to him but then he is good to go. So it is a great clean non violent game. It is even easy enough for me to enjoy. I play as well, and it is fun. So far every age enjoys it.
More family games like this are a plus.
