Album Notes DOGS BLOOD RISING, released in 1984, just might be the blackest of David Tibet's creations. Falling decidedly on the industrial side of Current 93's industrial-folk coin, these tracks take all of Tibet's apocalyptic, horror-fantasia obsessions to a repellent (and fascinating) place. The "music" consists of heavily treated tape loops and mad chanting from Tibet and his usual collaborator, Steven Stapleton. Crass's Steve Ignorant chimes (or gasps) in on the album's epic, nightmarish centerpiece, "Falling Back in Fields of Rape."
