Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan: Power of the Pack (DVD, 2007)

We have a new dog,a little Jack Russell, who is getting the upper hand in our house. I have read quite a bit on the dog whisperer web site, and wanted a dvd. I saw this on ebay, and won it. It was very good and an intro to Mr. Milan's methods. He is quite incredible with dogs, and I know if I could get my family to follow what he does, we would have a great dog. I certainly would buy more of Mr. Milan's products.

This book is great. Cesar Milan is the dog whisperer who else can you say can actually understand what dogs are saying?

If you watch the Dog Whisperer, you'll know what to expect. This DVD highlights some of Cesar's problem cases, and gives some tips on becoming a successful pack leader. The only downside is if you've seen a lot of episodes, you've probably seen some of the cases covered on this DVD. Still, a worthy addition to my dog training/obedience collection.

Excellent DVD explaining that dogs can go back to basics, in spite of how they are treated today with everything they ever want or need. The pack brings them back to basics. Our ways of "spoiling" our dogs can actually "hurt" them. This DVD serves as a reminder that dogs are dogs and should be respected as such - the way we treat them depends how well-balanced the dog can be. Highly recommend! Cesar Millan is amazing. Bonus pieces are just as good - concentrating on one dog at time...

If you like the Dog Whisperer, you will enjoy this DVD. It gives a background look at the Dog Psychology Center and is narrated by Cesar. Also contains a few of the best episodes with Cesar's commentary. A worthy viewing.

I thought it took a little to long to get. I am very happy with the product. I would order again. The pricing was great and there is a good varity of movies.

I loved the Power of the pack because it was interesting. It was remarkable how a well trained pack of dogs could have so much influence on other dogs that needed rehabilitation. However, since I don't own a pack of dogs it wasn't helpful for me. I was hoping it would give me tips on how I could train my own dog. It was not helpful at all. It was fascinating but not helpful.

I bought this dvd as a gift for my wife. She really enjoys it. We have been able to use this on our own dogs. Use the video with his books,it really enforces what is on the dvd. It is nice to be able to review any section of the dvd, to be able to concentrate on one certain area

I think Cesar Millan is awesome with not only people but in the training of people. If you have a problem with your dog, Cesar will show you that it is more than likely something that you are doing that is causing this bad behavior in the dog, and will teach you how to change what you are doing. This is an awesome dvd..One that every dog owner should have!

This man is truly amazing. He saves dogs lives!! I have two Boston Terriers and one of them, a tiny female about 12 pounds is soon going to be Cesar Millan'd. She pulls and goes at other dogs, but I know that with the help of the fellow we can be rehabilitated and retrained and she will be a happier dog and I, the happier person.

I have my own pack and would love to control them the way Ceser does his. While I learned a few things I still need to learn more and plan on purchasing more of his video's. I would be happier with his video's is he put more learning tools in his vidoe's but I guess that's how he gets you to buy all his video's.

Cesar's advice is great and just a few of his tips really helps our new puppies listen and behave. We get compliments on their behavior all the time. We bought this DVD and then rented the complete television series. The series is great. This DVD is pretty much the same info and mindset that is on the show, only very condensed. If you are pretty familiar with Cesar, then this will not be a lot of new info. If you are new to Cesar's Dog Whisperer methods, then this is a great introduction.

it had alot of interesting ideas on how to train and make your pet easier to train. i would enjoy watching more of his training videos

I would recommend this DVD. He has a lot of info and it is mixed with some comedy.

Good product. Caesar is very knowledgeable and shows that through the DVD. It helped tremendously with my German Sheppard.

A great dvd if you are a fan of the show. If you are looking for a step by step training dvd, you may be disappointed. This insightful disc is packed with Cesar's views and tecniques for rehabing dogs utilizing his pack of dog pals. Most dogs featured are an extension of his show, but shot in his facility using his pack of all breeds to calm unruly dogs and bring them back to their owners happy and better understood. It is unique to see the pack of dogs teach each other how to act and react around other people and other dogs. The owners are not around to intervene in this dvd either, allowing Cesar to rehabilitate without distraction to the dogs. About an hour and a half long it features a several dogs, and owners ranging from anti-social dogs to fearful owners, both needing rehabilitation that only Cesar can deliver. An amazing dvd in all, it even offers a bonus segment of dogs, so you get that little extra to watch. I really enjoyed the inside of Cesar's world, feeding, the pack and his neat facility he has in Los Angeles. As I stated this is not a training video, its more of a behavioral documentary of the effect of a pack on a dogs mental health, and a little bit of the inner workings that Cesar has put together. Very good dvd, if you like the series or question Cesar's ability, give it a look. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Bought it as a gift for my grandmother and her new gog, she seemed to like it alot, She said that it was verry informative and that she learned alot from watching it. She also stated that the techniques were explained in a way that was easy to understand and the theory behind the methods that were used.

I love this DVD. It has shown me all the good things I can do to get my dog to listen to me. If anyone has these kind of problems this is the best DVD to get. Don't forget to watch his series. It is most informative. In fact get the series you will learn a lot.
