I bought this book for my cousin who found out she was pregnant, and wasn't really expecting to be! She LOVES dogs, works at a humane society, constantly saving animals that need to be rescued! I thought it would make her day - and it did!

) the author has some very good points. This was a good read. I picked up some new tips for both my kids and some for my dog. My theory is you read parenting books, take what fits and discard what doesn't. This book is very well written and worth the time to browse or read thoroughly.
