Doctor Who - The Five Doctors (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

I am personally a Whovian. sure there are Star Wars fans, and Star Trek fans, but I have always found Doctor Who to be the greatest of them all, especially with over 15 years of episodes to watch. here is a time Lord with the power to do anything he wants, and he goes around the galaxy saving the universe, and his pet people us earthlings as well. of course the quality of action is not what you expect in today's movies, but overall these are some great classics and I suggest you add them to your archive today, and help the tradition continue, with this episode where the five doctors come from all corners of time together to battle there greatest nemisis yet!

Its Dr Who! Lovely to revisit some of the early Doctors, just loads of fun. This is what we watch him for, fun, not great literature, not Oscar worthy effects. I for one am happy to see him still on the tube and now on disk. I'll keep watching, I loved Dr.s #9 and #10 and I hope that #11 will keep to that standard. Just a FAN!!!

it was a pleasure to watch the Dr Who DVD The Five Doctors. I remember and still enjoy watching each one of them , from the first original series back in Nov 1963.I loved the old Theatrical style of acting if you can call it that! and it was very nostalgic to see them all together at one time. I am still watching the recent Dr Who with David Tennant, and don't think i will ever get tired of watching the Series...It was great to see old friends & foes once again battle against good & evil.I know i'll miss the Dr's who are no longer with us,they will be sadly missed.. But their Legacy will live on in this Special Edition story.. and other Dr Who DVDs.

The original Doctor Who episodes can be summed up in one word: corny. There are no high-tech special effects or Hollywood good looks, but the shows, to a substantial following, are still terribly absorbing and enjoyable. The Five Doctors is no exception, despite really only showing four Doctors. My favorite!
