I haven't watched it yet. Still looking for 2&3.I like dr who, but the older ones are hard to find. Like william hartnell.

I havn't watched it yet, as I bought the series as a gift. But when it arrived the box was undamaged and still in the plasic wrap- it looks brand new. Unless the discs have been tampered with, there is nothing to complain about.

While overseas delivery was a little slow, the product shipped almost immediately after purchase. It arrived in excellent condition and plays very well. I would love to find other seasons/series of Doctor Who at this same great price!

The product itself is very enjoyable & includes bonus features such as episodes of Dr. Who Confidential & deleted scenes from each episode. This set also includes the Christmas Special that aired between Series 3 & 4. Overall, one of the best series of NuWho yet, and certainly worth the $$$$.

This marks the last full season of David Tennant as the Doctor (for now he will just do mini series and a tv movie before he goes away), and just like in the other seasons,this one as well is full of action, comedy and drama.
Also we see the return of Catherine Tate, this time as the Doctor's companion, and we get the pleasure of watching Billie Pipper playing Rose Tyler once again.

If you are new to the series you probably will not enjoy this set as much, so I would recommend you start with season one and watch your way up to this one, but if you are a fan, this a must have.

What a great deal - Thanks!!! I have seen about 6 of the episodes so-far. They are quite well-done as always. Doctor Who requires a great deal of suspension of disbelief but that's ok by me. Very immaginative and interesting series.

THE 10TH DOCTOR'S JOURNEY'S IN TIME AND SPACE JUST GET MORE FUN TO WATCH. FROM VISITING POMPEII (ON VOLCANO DAY NO LESS) TO THE RETURN OF DAVROS. THIS IS MY FAV OF ALL OF THIS FANTASTIC SERIES. Just when you start to see how hot Martha Jones is and even though you miss Rose the Doctors new companion is growing on you. He drops her back off on earth. Donna is not one of my favorite companions but the stories are as good as ever. David Tennant is the best Doctor since Tom Baker. I love this series of DR. Who. I grew up with the 4th doctor and watched it every chance I got. When he regenerated to no.5 the station dropped the series and I never saw it again. When Sci Fi channel started up the series here in America I waited for the first episode and was not dissapointed.This is a must have for Whovians and Sci-fi buffs. It is a great fun show.

Love this season - Donna is a great companion. Definitely worth buying, especially if you like extra features like behind the scenes featurettes and video diaries.

The plots are better than previous seasons and the action is fast paced. Special effects are fantastic!

I love Doctor Who!!! So many great stories, and pretty good sci-fi effects for just a tv show, but, is a show that has been around this long really still just a tv show? Dare I say institution? Yes, I do believe I will. Even if you have never seen the older shows, this new series, starting in 2005 with Chris Eccleston, and then continuing on with David Tennant is...to quote both of them from this show "fantastic!!! and brilliant!!!" What more could you ask for in a show? Humour, drama, excitement and adventure beyond your wildest imagination. If you have been following along, then this fourth season set is a must. Highly recommended :)

Let's face it, I am a Dr. Who Fan. I have been since, as a American, I discovered the series in the mid 1970's. American was not an easy place for me in the 70's. I was not a hippy. I was not like everyone. I was more into reading books (I had a subscription to scifi books at Doubleday) and tripping out on all the wonderfully imagery found in them than taking drugs. I was a Malestrom AFB (my husband was in crypto in the Air Force) when I watched my first TV Dr. Who (a rerun on TV). The Snow Birds (from Canada) were on the base, but I would not leave until the show finished. I have been an avid fan since then. (I must admit to earlier sins of watching Star Trek and yes, forgive me, Lost in Space).

I have most of the Dr. Who books that I could find at my local bookstores. The excitement really hit when I found E-Bay!

I have to admit, being a little disappointed in the 1999 Dr. Who movie. I guess, by then I had built up missing Dr. Who for so long that nothing could have lived up to my expectation.

But when the new British series started, I was in Heaven on earth. I loved the 9th Dr. and cried when he left. I loved the 10th Dr. and am scared at the thought of a new Dr. (The new Dr. looks to Boris Korloff for me. I have watched him in a few things (Ruby in the Smoke PBS series) and did not really like him. So, we will see....

I loved Donna. Donna was not about romance with Dr. Who, but action. I really loved her "get in his face" attitude, etc. I will really miss her. Although, I suspect she will be back for the last of the 10th Doctor's going away. Don't get me wrong, I like Rose. I preferred the chemistry between the 9th Dr. and Rose over that of Rose and the 10th Dr. I guess I am pretty much alone in that analysis. I did not care for Martha, her character mopped to much about liking the Dr. and him liking Rose. My all time favorite so far has been Donna. Donna is an adventurer and "no nonsense" gal on the series.

Hence, I love this DVD set. I am excited I found it on ebay. I am after all, on a fixed income and ebay lets me find things I want for a price I can afford. I will be looking forward to the 5th series. I hope I am wrong about the 11th Dr.

I bought this because of all the extras. I had already watched the 4th Season via the Internet. I didn't have the Confidentials, the outtakes, etc.

ALL I can say is 1)We'll miss David Tennant when he changes/"Regenerates"; December 2009 although I think Matt Smith will be an excellent replacement
2)I believe alot of us will be OVERJOYED to have a new producer on-board in the form of Steve Moffatt(sp) replacing the oft self-indulgent, agenda wonk Russell T.Davies. RTD is one of those people that doesn't believe in the right time to end something. He always wants to insert just one more tning into a story making it often rushed and confused (as was the last two episodes of this season)...
When you have such BRILLIANT stories like the two-part "Silence in the Library/Forrest of the Dead" , single stories like "Midnight" and "Turn Left" it's disheartening and plain down right sickening to have Davies muck it all up by trying to stuff everything he ever did into the finale. No character development. Quantity over Quality.

If one gets to see some of the specials, "Planet of the Dead" is another example of Davies need to satisfy himself before a good story-line everytime.

Overall, this was a great season. Catherine Tate SUPRISED alot of us as being perhaps the BEST companion of the new series. So many were worried that she'd fall back on schtick from her TV Comedy show. I'm glad to hear that SHE will get a chance to RE-appear in the Season Finale' along with her "grand pa", 80 year old Bernard Cribbins as "Wilf".

Worth the money I paid for it (25 bux free s&h)

As the title sez, I'd have given the overall season an EXCELLENT except fot the finale. (sigh).

I love the idea of being able to travel through time and meeting many different people from around the world.

Great story lines as usual. Donna is a great companion. It is refreshing and a bit of a releif to have a companion that is not prone to falling in love with The Doctor. But do not think that means they can't break your heart anyway.

The fourth season of Doctor Who, the new show that is, was incredible. If you like the Doctor this will not disappoint. So much good stuff here. The first episode with Katherine Tate is even great for kids. They love the little fat babies!
