Movie Description
It's 1946, World War II is finished and Dr. John Finlay (David Rintoul) has finished his stint in the Royal Army Medical Corps. Upon his return to civilian life in the small Scottish town of Tannochbrae, Dr. Finlay finds himself treating the hearts of the citizens as well as their physical ailments, while dealing with the senseless bloodshed of what he witnessed in the war. The program is based on the writings of author A.J. Cronin.
