Collaborating with drummer John Osborn and Savatage guitarist Chris Caffery, Olivas envisioned DOCTOR BUTCHER as both a partial vacation and a context in which to try new ideas. DOCTOR features off-center riffs and rhythms and, ironically, revisits the earlier, rawer days of Savatage.
