Let me start out by saying Rear Window is one of my favorite movies of all time. If you have not seen it, then rent it rather than Disturbia.
Although vaguely based on Rare Window, but with kids and using todays technology. Disturbia is way too long, way too drawn out, predictable and not believable.
Peeping toms don't always see what this kid under house arrest views. If so maybe I would stay home more.
It tries to be a horror/suspense movie and is more about glamorizing voyuerism.
It had a few humorous moments, a few tense moments but was so slow I almost gave up on it. I rate it as average and nothing special. Not a Hitchcock thriller at all.
