Very similar to the snes Aladdin game but not the same. Still a great platformer for anyone that is looking for a fun game.

I bought this game for my grandson. He is just getting into video games and he loves Aladdin for the old Super Nintendo. I got him a gameboy and I wanted to get him a few games. I tested it and it works great. The seller had a good price for shipping and I got it quick. The item was exactly what was advertised! I am happy with my choice.

Colorful Aladdin is great for young and retro gamers

The first time I played Disney's Aladdin was when it came out for the Sega Genesis. It was an awesome game to play. It was a Disney game with some "funny" violence. The Game Boy Color version does justice towards the title. The game is very similar to the Sega version, but with few changes. Instead of beating the game without a way of saving your work, the GBC (Game Boy Color) version has a password saving system is a lot better than having nothing. Another great aspect is that, compared with the black and white original Game Boy version (in my opinion very disappointing), when you jump the game doesn't go into a slow motion sequence. A few added difficulties, for example in the desert level with spikes popping out of the ground give more challenge than just fight off snakes. Graphics are "okay" for the GBC. There is the occasional glitch that usually doesn't mess up gameplay, just ticks you off. The sound is in the style of the Aladdin movies. Ratings - Presentation 8/10, Graphics 7/10 Sound 8/10 Gameplay 9/10 Lasting Appeal 7/10 Overall 8/10(not average)
