  Early AC/DC Rocks The House

Everything AC/DC does rocks, and this is no exception. Angus and Malcolm show us balls to the wall rock that never stops, Bon belts out his nasely snarly vocals, and the rhythm section is impeccable, unmatched by any band before or since.

Dirty Deeds starts us out rocking with the title track that is classic AC/DC. But they don't stop there. Love At First Feel shows a slower rocker. Then they give us the comically bluesy Big Balls which goes right into the fast straight ahead rock of Rocker and Problem Child. Then another couple bluesy efforts in There's Gonna Be Some Rockin' and Ain't No Fun (Waiting Round To Be A Millionaire). Then we see the softer side of Bon and co. with Ride On. And finally they end it with Squealer, a bass heavy rock song that makes you want to listen to the whole album again.

Too bad Bon died so young. He lived life for excess and it can be seen in his music, whether it's Dirty Deeds, Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be, Highway To Hell, or whatever else. A lot of AC/DC fans didn't become fans until after Bon's death, but that's only because AC/DC wasn't nearly as popular until then. They would've been popular regardless, and it's too bad that Bon wasn't around to reap the rewards. But nonetheless, he at least recorded some of the most powerful tunes in rock and roll history with his bandmates, and thankfully they're here for us to enjoy today.

I have always liked ac/dc best out of all the rock bands and especially Bon Scott over Brian Johnson. I haven't had a chance to listen to the tape yet, but from the look of the packaging and the lack of wear and tear, I'm sure it works...
