Only below average ba=ecause its ia early model that doesnt work on the later directv recevers that dont have external antenna. Its useless unless you are operating an early directv version box. Go to the RC64R if you want the latest and greatest for your remote! I just scrapped all my RC@#, and RC32 remotes and bid on a series of RC64r. Check my bidding if in doubt! Item works very cleanly and effectively. I'm replacing a two year old Direct TV remote(same model)that the number keys had begun to stick with all the usage. I hope this replacement will last as long.
