Directed Electronics DMP740 (40 GB) Digital Media Player

this thing rocks it s only draw back is that it is slow on slide shows. about 3-5 seconds per picture. i bought one about 6 months ago and i love it!
i record live tv instantly or transfer movies onto it in about 2 minnutes a movie which is great comes with a converter in it software but i have yet to use it.
so i have recomended this to friends and family and i dont like digital gadgets much.this is so easy to use its great it also conneats to any tv through the rca plugs and provides a perfect picture.
i have a 61 inch high def tv and when i plug it in its almost impossible to tell the difference between the media player and digital hi def.
i payed about 160 us for it and it makes a great tax write off because i keep a couple pictures of work on it.
its also convient to throw my camera card in it and transfer my photos and video so i can keep recoreding when my camera gets full!!!!!!!!!!!!so helpful
my kid enjoyes it too because he likes to wath full lenght movues onit he has his own folder on it with about 5-8 movies on the thing.
right now i have about 20 movies and 500 pictures and 5000 songs and some albums too and it records voice but ive only recorded my son laughing once, but even that was clear......
