The book has colorful pictures to keep a child attention and on each page we discussed what the dinosaurs were doing and compared which dinosaur on the page was doing the things as described on that page.I would recommend book for a small child.

) This is a perfect book for boys and girls of the toddler to beginner reader ages. I am teaching phonemic awareness and phonics and this book is a delightful tool in my program. It provides a very colorful and interesting subject for teaching rhyme, rhythm, prediction, and basic sight words. I suggest try another he has: One Bear, One Dog. Paul Stickland is a favorite in our house. I bought this book because it was recommended in some educational panels and reviews. We owned One Bear, One Dog first and my 1 yr old fell in love with it and memorized it and the names of the animals. Paul Stickland just has a knack for connecting to the minds of children and taking them on a journey of learning that is fun.
