Great family movie, the kids watch it over and over, would recommend to children of all ages. The movie inspires kids to know that even when they are different than other children, they can belong, and that families come in different shapes and sizes and colors. The movie is funny and very uplifting.

The movie itself is a special edition copy and for the price it was a steal. The movie is great for children and all around lovers of Disney classics. I would highly recommend this movie for any individual who is trying to have a family night or just remain entertained by a masterpiece.

DinosaursI bought this dvd for my nephew. He's 3 1/2 yrs old and loves dinosaurs. He loves this movie!!! Very good animation/effects.... keeps him entertained and interested in learning about dinosaurs and wild animals.

This is a hard-to-find special edition that's out of print. The film is visually stunning and came at a time when Disney was looking to see if they can match the success of their previous forays into CGI (Toy Story, A Bug's Life), but without the help of Pixar. It turned out as somewhat of a failure. The story had a 'been there, done that' feel to it, and the box office wasn't up to par with Pixar's films. Still, it's an enjoyable experience that's worth a look. The picture and audio are about the best you can ask from standard DVD and the special features offer a great wealth of information. This a great DVD for a lackluster movie.
