I love the 30's and early 40's movies, and this is one of the best all star cast movies ever made. They have never been able to dublicate it no matter how they try. Maire Dressler is at her very best (Oscar worthy). YOu will enjoy it.

) If you've never seen DINNER AT 8 then you've never seen star power in full force. MGM was a master at shaping roles for their stars and this is one of their best. Wallace Beery, Marie Dressler and Jean Harlow stand out among a cast of luminaries. Between RED DUST and DINNER AT 8 Harlow achieved cinematic immortality. A MUST see.

This is a classic, obviously. And it is my favorite old-time movie. Also, there is a nice bio of Jean Harlow on the DVD. Love this movie.
