Digital Photography For Dummies by Julie Adair King (2005, Paperback)

Well written and easy to understand for all of us who are technology-challenged. Has been very helpful to learn the techniques and quite
frequently I use it as a reference guide.

I am trying to improve my digital photography skill and first saw this book in a book store. I was able to purchase this book on eBay at 2/3 the regular price. I have already read over half of the book and find it very informative and very easy to comprehend. I would recommend this book to anyone (beginner or intermediate digital photographer).

This book was suggested for my digital photography class. The instructor was selling them but I went home and checked on E-Bay. I am very pleased with the knowledge that is contained in the book. I especially like the Photoshop material.

The "for Dummies" series of books is an outstanding way of increasing your knowledge about a particular subject. I love these books. The Digital Photography for Dummies is no exception. This is an incredible compilation of information about digital photography. It gives page after page of hands-on information. However this book is designed for advance photographers who are more likey to display their photos in public or sell their wares to magizines. It has a lot of knowledge on how to modify or edit your photos. It did not meet my goal. I was looking for something for the more unskilled photographer or novice on the basics of photography. I was looking for basic photography information. I will keep this on the bookshelf until I reach this level photography as it is indeed very helpful.
