Differential Equations And Boundary Value Problems by David E. Penney, Henry Edwards (2007, Hardcover)

Got this book for my differential equations class at engineering school. So far, it has been pretty clear - good examples and even some programming help.

I recommend this book if you only want chapter up to 7. In an original one, there is chapters up to 10. This one has last three chapters (Ch 8,9, and 10) missing!!!

I can't really comment on the book since it is a college textbook for our daughter. I can, however, say that it was well below the purchase price through the school and saved us money! The shipping was fast and we appreciate a smooth transaction.

Hard to understand. I couldn't learn a thing from this book. I had to use the internet to teach me Diff EQ... thank God I found a good website, because without it I would have failed.

I cannot rate this book since i returned it without using it. For other prospective buyers i would just remind you that this book is the international edition and you may not be able to resell it easily in the U.S
