Vital book for fathers with daughters
I bought this book for my husband on Father's Day. It is aimed toward fathers who have daughters, but the principles can be carried beyond that specific relationship. It is practical and gives real-life examples of what it suggests. Dr. Leman is a Christian psychologist who's written several books on parenting and marriage, and I've loved all of them. It is an easy read, with both humor and plain, straightforward language.

Christian principles. My son is a new father; extremely devoted to his daughter. I bought this book for him, but I read it first.
Dr. Leman, a psychologist, shares his experiences with the reader about life with four daughters. There are humorous scenarios throughout the book. Also, he allows the reader to see his human side, and one weeps with him as he conveys some very touching and heartwarming episodes that he has shared with his daughters.
I intend to read more of his books because his message and how he presents it is clear, interesting, and very humorous. I had the occasion to hear him speak in person. I was able to have my book autographed before I gave it to my son. That makes it even more special to me.
